T. – TEACHING OTHER DISCIPLES – MATTHEW 28:19-20
Making mentors and “mentees” is also making disciples. Jesus commissioned all disciples to go into the nations and make other disciples; teaching them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19). Then He also tells us that we are the SALT of the earth; we add flavor and enhancement to this dark world. It is our duty to pour into others so that the flavor will continue to flow. However, we cannot teach or pour into others unless we are properly trained and equipped. This training begins with the Word of God. It is also through God’s word that Christians will develop a more intimate relationship with God.
One who is authentic in Christ, willing to learn and grow as one of His disciples, and reproduce their knowledge and experience to others.
You must have a desire to spend time loving people.
One who has a desire to know Christ, be willing to grow in Christ, or be willing to have someone in their lives as a friend and guide.
